Dominion Day

On the 1st of July, 1867, Canada became a self-governing colony within the British Empire. Relive the past and discover the events surrounding early Dominion Day celebrations (now Canada Day).  Patriotic speeches, music by The Shoutts, cake and lemonade, and vintage base ball are a few of the activities that will bring the past to life.

Enjoy a red and white special at the Pioneer Village Café:  BBQ ribs and chicken with potato salad coleslaw and traditional rice pudding.

Vintage base ball game between the Vintage London Tecumsehs and modern London Tecumsehs at 1:00 pm
