World War I

On August 4th, 1914, Britain and Canada declared war on Germany. The ensuing conflict lasted until November 11, 1918 and more than 60,000 Canadians were among the dead, wounded or missing. Come participate in over a dozen activity stations, including tours of our onsite trench, a First World War Fashion Show and Suffragette Rallies, which explore different aspects of the First World War.
