Position Description



    • Facilitate registration of applicants on a one-to-one basis.

    • Information gathering; data entry.

    • Process and verify applications, receipts, expenditures, forms and other documents.

    • Develop and process statistic forms and reports.

    • Process and review meeting minutes, correspondence, reports, statements, forms in a MS Windows environment.

    • Receive and forward telephone and/or counter inquiries to appropriate person and provide general information to clients and the public.

    • Maintain and update manual or computerized filing, inventory, mailing and database systems.

    • Sort and route incoming mail.

    • Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing.

    • Reception Area maintenance including completing office opening and closing procedures as set out in the Administration manual.

    • Assume other duties that may be required by the needs of the Agency.

    • Must be willing and able to travel to outreach offices as required.


    • Minimum completion of Grade 12, preferable post-secondary education in Business Administrative field.


      • Excellent customer services skills.

      • Experience working with people with disabilities.

      • Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills.

      • Must be fluent in Professional Writing, Word Processing and Excel Spreadsheets in Microsoft Windows environment.

      • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, professional telephone manner.

      • Must be able to multi-task, adapt to changing environment and meet deadlines.

      • Typing speed over 50 wpm.

      • Minimum 1 year experience in an office environment.

      • Must have acceptable or be willing to obtain Vulnerable Screening Police Check.

      • Bilingual in French an asset.
