Leadership Beyond the Box 2017: Disruptive Leadership and Systems Change

Disruptive Leadership and Systems Change
April 12, 2017

Today, the current reality of the nonprofit environment is frightening:

  • Funding is becoming more and more “one-time and project-based” making nonprofits financially challenged
  • Funders are pressuring for partnerships, mergers and collaborations
  • Executive Directors, board members and managers face more challenges than ever and their roles are overwhelming
  • Increasing mental health concerns in staff teams.
  • Increasing complexities of our most challenging social problems
  • Generational differences between boomers and millennials are bringing leadership challenges to the forefront.

Today’s leaders must be bold and face change head on with creativity, transparency and engagement. There are new skills we must learn to become more agile, flexible and innovative or our organizations are going to come to an end.

Chris Moss will create and deliver a dynamic workshop that combines new leadership skills, collaboration strategies, mindset shifts and design thinking. Participants will learn in a dynamic, engaging session that will bring leaders outside of their comfort zones where they will consider new ways of leading that just may fly in the face of what they are used to.
