About the facilitator:

David Hartley has conducted over 200 training sessions across Canada with more than 10,000 nonprofit leaders. These governance, insurance and risk management workshops have met with rave reviews. His presentation style is described as "fresh, informative and very engaging".  David is a consultant working exclusively with Canadian nonprofits in the areas of governance and risk management.  Previously a licensed insurance broker, in 1998 David began a career training insurance professionals, eventually for 3 Canadian insurers, until he joined Imagine Canada with the opening of the Insurance & Liability Resource Centre for  nonprofits, in the summer 2007.  Mr. Hartley has travelled extensively as a trainer, both in Canada and abroad, and has developed numerous training and train-the-trainer programs.
