What is a social enterprise?
A social enterprise is an organization or venture that achieves its primary social or environmental mission using business methods. Social enterprises build a more just, sustainable world by applying market-based strategies to today's social problems.
With the momentum for social enterprise growing locally and globally, how do you know if it's right for you and your organization?
This interactive series will:
• Provide an overview of key concepts and current trends in social enterprise
• Help you clarify your goals in exploring social enterprise
• Assess your current readiness and capacity to launch a successful social enterprise
• Identify potential opportunities that build on your resources and strengths
• Avoid the most common challenges
• Develop an action plan of next steps for your organization
