Advancing Cultural Diversity in Volunteer Management Project
The Advancing Cultural Diversity in Volunteer Management Project focuses on improving the capacity of small- and medium-sized nonprofit organizations to recruit and support the participation of a more culturally and racially diverse population in volunteer roles and activities in communities of the 519 and 905 areas.

Helps newcomers adapt to Canadian society and become Canadian citizens. CIC employees work with people from diverse culture, striving to serve them fairly, efficiently and with integrity.

Works as a change agent with the focus of the change being the elimination of discrimination, whether it be on the basis of race, religious affiliation, age, gender, ethnicity, marital status, disabilities or sexual orientation.
