Position Description

We're excited about this new project to create an exclusive new directory of specialized London-area heritage trades, craftspeople, and professionals to assist property owners find much-needed skilled practitioners!

We regularly receive requests asking for suggestions of skilled building practitioners who have experience and expertise in heritage restoration or renovations but we - and everyone else - have had to rely on word-of-mouth, a friend of a friend, and "I know a guy" recommendations. This new initiative will create a London-area directory of heritage trades, craftspeople, and professionals in fields as diverse as hardware and stained glass to plasterwork and flooring to architects and researchers.

We’re looking for people who are interested in helping to research, network, and build this Directory. If you’re organized, outgoing, and have an interest in the building trades and professions, help us bring this much-needed project to life! Ability and experience with Internet research and spreadsheets will be considered an asset. Send us an email and tell us about yourself and why you're interested in helping on this exciting new project.

Our goal is to connect skilled and experienced professionals with heritage property owners to ensure that our community’s built heritage of all eras is restored, maintained, and renovated with expert and quality workmanship. Inclusion in the Directory will not be an endorsement from ACO London, we will strongly recommend that owners ask for and check referrals.
