Social Enterprise

A Partnership to Build a Better Community

United Way of London & Middlesex, Richard Ivey School of Business and Pillar Nonprofit Network have partnered to generate capacity for social enterprise and evaluate it as a tool to create social change.

We will work with and learn from our Ottawa and Sarnia partners. At the same time, we will engage with local nonprofits and charities that are interested in exploring social enterprise as a means to improve sustainability and elevate community impact.

We will collaborate with funders, financial institutions, social entrepreneurs, businesses, and other local organizations to define innovative, new ways to have a positive impact on the quality of life in our community.

Networking Group

A networking group can be an agent for change. We will meet monthly as individuals, enterprises, organizations and commercial business, to make social enterprise happen. Developed in response to the emerging interest in social enterprise, this networking group will raise awareness and understanding about social enterprise in the London & Middlesex area. More...
