Day Camp Inclusion Counsellors (CSJ)

Inclusion Counsellors in our day camps provide children with disabilities the opportunity to participate in fun and engaging activities with their peers.

This position is a 9-week contract, 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate(s) for this position will possess the following qualifications in addition to education and experience requirements:

  • High Five Certification is Principles of Healthy Child Development 100 required
  • Basic Swimming skills an asset
  • Current First Aid & C.P.R. certificate required
  • C.P.I or P.M.A.B certification required
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance issued by local police station required (if 18+ years old)

To be eligible for Canada Summer Jobs Positions, applicants must:

(a) Be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
(b) Be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act*; and
(c) Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations.

*International students are not eligible. Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian Citizens or permanent residents
